I, like a lot of SL merchants and residents, was taken by surprise by the changes on XStreet. I have been a supporter of SLexchange, as it was originally named, and Xstreet for a long time. Zak has had some scripts and toys he has created out there for years. When I closed Wedding Elegance, I put all of my cakes out on XStreet because it was a great place to have them if someone asked about buying one. I didn't have to keep up a store but I could tell people where to buy them. I don't market the cakes and I since there are several hundred wedding cakes and mine start with W, they don't come up on the first few pages. I do not want to pay L$10 per month per item to keep an inventory on Xstreet. I can put out a vendor on the sim or at the Figure 8 Club but it's out of place and a waste of prims.

Remembering on Veteran's Day
Today is Veteran's Day here in the US. I know lots of other countries have also had days to honor their veterans. I think it is important to honor the people who make such sacrifices for their country. It takes a lot of strength of character to be willing to fight and die for your country no matter what you believe politically. Thank you to everyone who is out there fighting now for our safety and freedom. Thank you to those who have lost their lives fighting so that we can be free. Hopefully, some day we will get to the point that we do not need wars and violence to settle our differences, but until then, thank you.

Cheesecake Post?
I have been playing around with pics again. I realized that my profile pic had not been updated since - all gasp in unison - April! That's like 5 years in SL time. The other night I took a bunch of pics and today I finally had some time to start playing around.
