It's been a long week. I think it is really time to lay around on the beach and rest and relax.
Today is a busy day too. Thorn and Bobo had their big hunt at their store. Thorn has an amazing jewelry store that you have heard me talk about many times and Bobo's Masquerade has some incredible mens and womens clothes. They have also added gardens and an underwater fantasy world. It's a very romantic place to hang out with your sweetie, or go and relax. It as been blogged about on The Arbor Restaurant Blog and the author posted some great pics. You should check them out.
We are also having a party at the Figure 8 Island Club tonight. Come check it out from 5:00 SLT - 7:00 SLT. DJ fireboy will be doing his usual outstanding job of playing your favorites. It's definately time to relax and hang out.

Bobo's Masquerade Aniversary Celebration!
One of my favorite designers and friends, Bobo Rosselsprung is celebrating 2 years of having one of the most unique fashion lines in SL. Bobo is so creative and has an eye for color and flair. If you go to Bobo's store, you can see the amazing evening gowns he designs as well as the great men's clothes. There are a ton of prizes to be won all month. Every 5th customer during the whole month wins a gift certificate from $L50 up to $3,200!!!! You can transfer the gift card to make a fabulous gift if you want to. There are also some amazing gifts of jewelry and clothes that you can win. I have a special spot for wedding gowns, so I took some special pictures at Wedding Elegance in Bobo's Wedding Gown. It is an amazing dress that makes any woman look like a princess on her special day. Please check out Bobo's Masquerade this month, you should anyway because he has amazing designs, but especially during the month of June!

Is this a feature or a bug?
I'm feeling a bit peculiar today. Almost like my head is light and filled with nothing. Wait, it is filled with nothing, except my eyes. I'm trying out the new release candidate and this one is a new "feature" You too can try partial invisibility. I have seen my arms and torso disappear too, but the invisible head was the coolest. I'm glad we all are flexible and just roll with the situations and have fun. Enjoy your week! - CJ

All these years and another Cabbage Patch doll?
Many many years ago when I was a small child I became infatuated with a beautiful doll. She has yarn for hair and a pug nose. Her skin was like pantyhose stretched over fluffy stuff. She was an original Xavier Robert's adoption doll and she became the light of my life. I played with her, bathed her with Fantastic, like the instruction said, and forced my Mom to buy more real baby clothes for her than I should have. But hey, Mom did it, so don't blame me. She was an adult. I was not. But Carolina, my doll, and I had many many adventures and I still have her sitting on the guest bed at our house.
Fast forward a few years. No, I am not telling you specifically how many, but if you get the Cabbage Patch theme of the article, you can probably have a rough estimate. Several weeks ago we heard that the company in SL that created the 3 cats we have had, 2 of which could give Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer a run for their money, had started making babies. (They crashed a sim. It was great fun.) Our last cat kept falling off the side of the house into the water. I'm glad cats have 9 lives. Now, for those of you who know us, understand that to us, babies are like kitties or doggies. We like kitties and doggies in RL, we know our limits and we are NOT ready for RL people babies. So, knowing our limits, I started looking at these SL babies. I am not one to spend all my money on the most expensive thing I see. I know the baby thing is going to be a flash in the pan, and she/he will end up on the bed. I don't see a fully furnished nursery here, but you never know. Sometime, if your going to do something, it's worth overdoing it but I don't see $L5,000 for the baby and then another $L2,500 for the nursery. Although the boy nursery was great. The girl nursery was way to generic. A friend has a Heaven Sent by Sh2 baby. I checked them out. They were very afordable and they have all sorts of options. I proudly purchased a neko baby. (Those of you who know me, remember I was a neko for several years. ) She resembles my Caroline, my old doll, but we have named her Anderia, after a dear friend. They are fully customizable. I have her in Pink Hola Kitty Pjs. (No I don't want some legal group sending me a take down letter.) They have a full range of options at the shop. If you and your SL honey want to RP having a baby, you can. They provide all the shapes, AO, poses, you name it. I will play with the baby, freak out some friends and then probably put her on the bed, but just like RL, you have to cut loose in SL sometimes.
